I've gotta admit.....I let Ellie have cake for breakfast yesterday!
My mom had dropped off two small heart-shaped cakes for Elliott the night before Valentine's Day.
I thought it was super sweet, and yesterday morning I just wanted to get some pictures of E with the cakes.
Well, what would you expect when you put cake in front of a one year old?! I guess I should have known. She was way too into it to take them away from her, so I just let her go to town.
She could use a little fattening up, anyway. And? It was Valentine's Day :) Who doesn't want to eat cake for breakfast on Valentine's Day?!
A bath was in order after the feast, and then it was into the cute little Valentinesy outfit that I had meticulously coordinated for her. I let Ellie open a little gift from Scott and I before we started our first day back in the real world (aka work and babysitter's house).
Her hair is getting a little out of control....but I have no idea what to do with it!! What do you do with a baby mullett, anyway?!
She loved this cup, and I was surprised that she knew just what to do with it!
Cute little faces she makes trying to get something out of that straw! (I did put some milk in it for her, after about 30 minutes of her walking around with it empty like this haha)
And, this one is for The Paper Mama's Photo Challenge: My Valentine
