I kind of have an obsession with buying matching stuff for Elliott and I.
It started out innocently enough. I would accidentally dress Elliott in something that matched what I was wearing. I remember Scott making fun of our matching "track suits" when Ellie was just about a week old. I didn't do it on purpose, but somehow we always managed to be wearing similar outfits on the same day. And while I didn't plan these sorts of things back then, I certainly enjoyed these happy accidents. I enjoyed the comments and smiles from others, and I just plain enjoyed seeing my daughter look sort of like a "mini me".
Well, fast forward a year and a half, and I'm in full-blown matchy-matchy mode.

I know this can only last for a short time. In a couple years Ellie will be able to express her individuality through what she chooses to wear.
Until then, this momma might just continue buying ridiculous matchy-matchy items.
Just because I can.

I love the matching! I like it when my hubby and Dane match, and if I have a daughter someday I will surely do the matchy matchy thing with her too.
