Wordless Wednesday: Caspar Babypants

I know what you're thinking....what in the world in Caspar Babypants?!
Well, up until last week, I wondered that very same thing. I knew it was some sort of music, because local friends with kids Ellie's age were always taking their kids to see "Caspar Babypants concerts". When I saw on our library's list of activities that Caspar Babypants was coming to our very own, small town library (on my day off, no less), I knew that Ellie and I had to check it out!
Man, I'm so glad we went!
Most of this guy's concerts are free, and let me tell you.....I bought a $10 CD from him because the concert was that good (and so is the CD, by the way). We listen to the CD in the car almost every morning now, and just the other day, one of the songs made me cry!! I know, I'm a sap. But it was a precious song, and I was totally picturing using that song as part of a slideshow for our next kiddo's first birthday party (ahem, I guess I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but those are the thoughts that sneak into my brain as I'm driving to work)!
Dancing. That lady next to her kept cheering her on and dancing with her. Too cute!
If you're around the Seattle area, perhaps you should check out one of his shows. And by perhaps, I mean you should do it. Now. Seriously. Here's the Caspar Babypants website: www.babypantsmusic.com
Caspar. AKA Chris Ballew, lead singer for The Presidents of the United States of America.
Yep.
And, his wife is an artist. Together, they make books and songs. Pretty darn cool!

Things got a little crazy. The kids loved it.
Dancing makes you tired.

I heard him on the radio one day, and that weekend went to see him at the West Seattle Street fair. There were hundreds of people there to see him, so we couldn't get close enough for to actually see him ourselves. I will def check out his website again to see if he will be coming to my library, Dane would be in heaven!
