I am a self-proclaimed wanna-be. I'm a wanna-be stay-at-home-mom. I always knew that when I had kids, I wanted to be able to quit work and devote all of my time to raising them and maintaining my household. Well, as we all know, we can make plans, but when we do, we usually just make God laugh. Things certainly never seem to go the way I had planned, and motherhood is no different!
Being the rollercoaster that it is, I still wouldn't change one single thing about my life. Scott and I may not have planned on having a child while he was still in college, but then where would we be without Elliott?? I don't even want to think about thinking about that! So, we live life and find our own way to conquer our obstacles (not saying that a baby is an obstacle or a problem to be dealt with, but you get the idea). So I work, both as a mom and as a receptionist :) and I love my job(s)! Although at times I feel like I have a LOT on my plate, I will never ever fail to notice all that my husband does to provide for us, support me, and prepare for our future.
In the coming days, weeks, months and years of this pretty little life I hope to make this blog my outlet. A place to share pictures, funny stories, experiments in mommy-hood and more! Join me if you'd like! I can't promise that every day will bring something wildly entertaining, but for those of you like me, just getting through the day to day and trying to make it as pretty and as memorable as possible, remember that life is in the little stuff!
