Elliott and I stepped out today.....it's another Momma and Me Weekend, so we got dolled up for church this morning. Then we had lunch with Oma and Opa (my parents), and came home for a lazy, dreary afternoon.
We turned it into a fun afternoon, though, with a dance party! Elliott loves music, and she has a funny way of dancing......it's an ever-so-slight-knee-bend with a little bit of head-bobbing. It's hilarious. Mostly it's her facial expression that gets me, because she looks to be concentrating so very hard, when in fact, her body is barely moving. It's so funny to me that I caught it on video for you all to see :)
Once she discovered the iPod function on my phone, she was in love and we spent the next half hour or so dancing together :) If that's not the perfect way to spend a weekend at home alone with my babe, then I don't know what is!
